The University of Denver's Morgridge College of Education invites applications for a tenure track position in the Curriculum and Instruction program at the rank of Assistant Professor. We seek a candidate with expertise in the area of K-12 with specific background or interest in working with culturally diverse, underserved populations. This position requires an innovative thinker who can teach graduate courses in face-to-face and distance learning contexts; supervise graduate students and direct doctoral dissertations. The MCE is located in the new Katherine A. Ruffatto Hall, a 65,000 square foot complex providing a flexible, innovative, and multidisciplinary learning environment. The facility allows for ongoing dialogue with community, national, and global partners as we enter a transformational era in education. The facility features state-of-the-art technology including interactive white boards and flat-panel displays throughout, two TelePresence videoconferencing systems, three Tandberg videoconferencing systems and a Voice-over Internet Protocol (VOIP) integrated communications system.
The person in this position will teach two classes per quarter in the C&I master's and doctoral programs. Some classes will be taught on-line.
