Assistant Principal for Instructional Leadership/Guidance Counselor
Jefferson High School, located in Boulder, Montana, is looking for an experienced and encouraging leader for an Instructional Leadership position. This is a unique opportunity to create a dual-role position for an inspirational and collaborative leader committed to continuous improvement of instructional strategies and outcomes using student-centered and research-based techniques; a leader with the capacity to purposefully guide students in preparation for lives beyond high school.
The position requires either a principal or counselor certification and acquisition of the other certification while on the job. Candidates interested in a half-time position in either the instructional leadership or the counseling roles are welcome to apply. Potential exists for growth in either aspect of the job.

Research Assistants/Associates - TACS
TACS is building an open applicant pool and may be seeking non-tenured, part-time and/or limited duration Educational Consultants at various levels to assist with grant related activities. Our mission is to provide technical assistance to State Education Agencies and Lead Early Intervention Agencies to support them in systemic improvement of policies, procedures and practices resulting in quality programs and services for children with disabilities and their families. Our services include consultation on research-based educational strategies and policy alignment, technical assistance, training, product development and information services as well as empirical research on educational practices and learning strategies. Through these services we provide our clients with access to current special education policy, technology and best practice research and assist them in complying with federal education legislation (IDEA and NCLB).
Appointments are limited duration (6 months to one year), with the possibility of renewal up to three years based on performance, need, and funding. Appointments are contingent upon grant funding.

Education Consultant, SERC
Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis and the pool will remain active through (one year from posting). Screening of applications will take place as positions become available and continue until positions are filled.
SERC is currently seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time opening as part of the Initiative on Diversity in Education’s (IDE) Team.
Candidates for the position must have a Master’s degree in education or a related field, although a Sixth Year Certificate or Doctorate is preferred. As part of the team, the consultant supports in the design and oversees the implementation of SERC’s various training and technical assistance initiatives and partnerships. The consultant also provides on-site professional development and technical assistance to partnering schools and districts.
