Equity Matters Newsletter
Do you think Equity Matters? The Equity Alliance at ASU does! Welcome to our newsletter, Equity Matters. Within each issue, you will find articles, events, and links to information regarding a host of topics related to educational equity. Readers will find inspiring stories and resources surrounding the monthly theme of each newsletter. Equity Matters reflects the collaborative relationship between the National Institute for Urban School Improvement (NIUSI), National Center for Culturally Responsive Educational Systems (NCCRESt), NIUSI-LeadScape, and the Region IX Equity Assistance Center, all a part of the Equity Alliance at ASU. By pooling the resources and expertise of all of these projects, Equity Matters can communicate with the broadest audiences and provide the most innovative, vital and current information on issues in education, school reform, cultural diversity, curriculum and instruction, disproportionality, inclusive educational practices, desegregation, best practices for culturally and linguistically diverse learners, and much more. Equity Matters will keep you informed of the work of these projects as well as other news and information related to minimizing achievement disparities.
