We invite you to submit a proposal to lead a conference session at our 2012 Leadership for Equity and Excellence Forum.

We will be accepting proposals through the end of August.

Some of the topics we're on the lookout for include:
  • Successful Approaches to Addressing Achievement Disparities
  • Data-enhanced Leadership
  • Getting students involved – Social Justice & Advocacy
  • Doing more with less – Professional Development on a Limited Budget
  • Equity lifestyle – student belonging and empowerment initiatives
  • Best practices for building an inclusive school/district
  • Upholding Civil Rights in Education (Access, Participation & Outcomes)
  • Harnessing the Power: Family & Community involvement in education
  • Real Student Outcomes: College & Career Ready initiatives
  • Rigorous Education: Where are all the kids of color in gifted, AP and STEM courses?
  • Learning Time: It's not just during school hours
  • Multiple Languages = Valuable assets in a global society
  • Defeating Disproportionality
Proposals will be considered for the following types of presentations:
  • 3 hour in-depth sessions
  • 60-minute presentations, discussions, or panels
  • Poster presentations

We are especially interested in the voices of students and young adults. Sessions should be interactive and of interest to a wide range of educators, students and families, policy makers, and researchers.
